1. Menu
The Channel Admin Center provides various features to help manage the currently accessed channel. Navigate through menus such as Posts, Messages, 1:1 Chats, and Analytics for more details.

➊ Switching Channels If you manage multiple channels, you can easily switch between them.
➋ Channel Information Quickly check your wallet balance, available cash, and message credits for the currently accessed channel.
➌ Side Menu Access various features, including Profile, 1:1 Chats, Posts, Messages, Biztools, Channel Promotion, Analytics, and Management. Explore these features based on your channel's needs.
2. Profile Settings
Your channel profile is a key section that introduces your business.

➊ Channel Information The channel name can be changed once, but only if the channel has fewer than 100 friends. This is to prevent confusion among existing followers. Search ID cannot be changed. You can check your channel URL and chatroom link. Set a channel category as needed.
➋ Option Settings Channel Visibility : Set to off if you want to prepare content in advance or temporarily pause operations. When set to off, users cannot access your channel home or add it as a friend on KakaoTalk. (Previously received messages will still be available to existing friends.)
Search Visibility : When set on, your channel and posts will appear in KakaoTalk search results. When set to off, they will be excluded from search results, but users can still access them via URL. You can also set your preferred country for profile visibility in search results.
➌ Channel Integration Check the integration status of Kakao services at a glance. If linked with Story Channel, posts published on your channel can also be shared on the connected Story Channel. (Accessible via Individual Posts > More Options) Currently, only Story Channel integration is supported. More services will be added in the future.
➍ Affiliation Requests Manage business account affiliation requests. When set on, business accounts can request affiliation with your channel. When set off, business accounts cannot send affiliation requests.
❺ Channel Deactivation Only the channel master can deactivate a channel. Deactivation of a channel must be reviewed carefully before proceeding, as deactivated channels cannot be recovered. Deactivating a channel does not automatically withdraw the master from the Channel Admin Center. To deactivate your channel, proceed from [My Account Information]. Within 7 days of deactivation, any Admin can request cancellation of deactivation. This can be done by selecting the pending deactivation profile in the channel list and following the pop-up instructions.
❻ Save After configuring your profile, be sure to click the save button at the bottom to apply your settings.
3. Channel Home Settings
3-1. Channel Home Settings
Display business information such as notices, updates, and coupons on your Channel Home. Use the Channel Home Settings menu to optimize your business by leveraging your channel’s assets effectively.
What is Channel Home? The main page of your channel, where various business assets are presented in a card format. It offers different card types, including notices, coupons, and recent updates, allowing you to showcase your business. You can control the visibility of each card. The display order set in the Channel Admin Center determines how they appear on KakaoTalk.

➊ Card Settings Click the v icon to enter information and configure details for each card. The card title can be edited (except for certain cards.) After entering your information, click save to apply the changes to your Channel Home.
➋ Add Cards Add cards for Brand, Updates, Social Media, Notices, Coupons, Chats, and Kakao Business Service Integrations to display on your Channel Home.
➌ Preview Instantly check your Channel Home settings using the preview feature.
➍ Save After configuring your Channel Home, be sure to click save at the bottom to apply your settings.

❺ Recommended Card Selection Recommended card layouts are available for categories such as Offline Store, Brand, Shopping Mall, Order, and Booking. You can select a recommended layout and modify it later by adding or rearranging cards as needed.

❻ ON/OFF Settings Use the on/off toggle to control card visibility. Turn it on for to display the card on Kakao Talk Channel Home. Turn it off to hide the card. Even if card details are filled in, the card will not be displayed unless it is set to on. If a card is set to on but contains no information, it will not be displayed.
➐ Reorder Cards Drag and drop cards to arrange them in your preferred order. The updated order will be reflected in KakaoTalk > Channel > Channel Home. Business Information Cards cannot be moved. (Available only for Business Channels) After adjusting the order, click save to apply the changes.
3-2. Profile Card
Showcase your business more effectively by adding a representative image and an introductory phrase that highlights your brand and content.

➊ Setting Up a Profile Card Upload an image that represents your channel. - Recommended image size: 640 x 640 px. - Supported file formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG - Maximum file size: 10MB Enter an introductory phrase that reflects your brand and content.
➋ Store Information Toggle the on/off button to display store details linked to your channel.
➌ Quick Links Set the visibility and order of buttons for features such as Updates, Boards, Talk Store, Checkout, Order, Booking, KakaoMap, KakaoNavi, Call, and Code Scan. Unavailable buttons tor those not linked to a Kakao service will not appear on the screen.
3-3. Brand Card
For Business Channels, this card allows you to add an image or video that represents your channel.

➊ Setting Up a Brand Card Upload an image or video that best represents your channel. - Supported file formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG - Maximum file size: 10MB Recommended aspect ratios: 16:9 (landscape) 1:1 (square), 3:4 (portrait)
3-4. Notice Card
Use the Notice Card to display important business updates from your published posts. Share key announcements such as operating hour adjustments and other critical notices through the Notice Card.

➊ Setting Up a Notice Card Click Settings to select a post for the notice. You can link up to three published posts to the Notice Card. Message-only posts and private posts cannot be registered. Notices appear in the order they were registered (Notice 1 → Notice 2 → Notice 3). Drag and drop to rearrange the order. If there are no published posts, notices cannot be registered. Please create a post first.
➋ Add/Delete Click Add to register an additional notice. Click Delete to remove an existing notice.
➌ Display Type Choose between List, Swipe 1, and Swipe 2 layouts for Channel Home.
➍ Collapse Card by Default Enable or disable this option to keep the card collapsed or expanded by default on Channel Home.
3-5. Coupon Card
Display coupons on Channel Home to offer benefits to your channel’s friends. Provide various perks through coupons to attract more visitors to your channel.

➊ Setting Up a Coupon Card Select which coupons to display on Channel Home. If there are active coupons, a View All Coupons card will automatically appear. You can also link specific coupons to be prioritized. Coupons appear in the order of Coupon 1 → Coupon 2 → Coupon 3, while the View All Coupons card is always displayed last.
➋ Add/Delete You can link up to three individual coupons. Coupons must have their visibility set to "Visible" to be linked. Linked coupons are displayed on Channel Home only during the entry period. (Coupons set in advance will be shown once the entry period starts.) To remove a registered coupon, click the Delete button. Drag and drop to rearrange the order.
➌ View All Coupons If at least one coupon meets the visibility conditions, the View All Coupons card will be displayed automatically. Clicking this card allows users to browse all available coupons for the channel. Only coupons that meet the following conditions will be displayed:
Visibility set to "Visible" Currently within the entry period Status set to "Available"
If no coupons meet these criteria, the View All Coupons card will not be shown.

3-6. Updates Card
The Updates Card displays recently published posts on Channel Home. Use posts to share various updates about your business and keep customers informed.

➊ Setting Up an Updates Card If at least one post exists in the Updates tab at the time of setup, the card will display posts according to the selected settings. If there are no posts, the Updates Card cannot be displayed. If posts are later deleted and no posts remain, the Updates Card will automatically be hidden. The Updates Card refreshes its content each time a new post is published. Message-only posts and private posts are excluded from display. ➋ Collapse Card by Default Enable or disable this option to keep the card collapsed or expanded by default on Channel Home.
3-7. Board Card
The Board Card compiles and displays recently published boards from the Kakao View Creator Center on Channel Home. Use boards to organize and deliver various updates about your business to customers.

➊ Setting Up a Board Card If your channel is linked to the Kakao View service, you can display boards on Channel Home using the Board Card. If at least one board has been published at the time of setup, it will be displayed based on the selected settings. If there are no boards, the Board Card cannot be displayed. If a board is later deleted and no boards remain, the Board Card will automatically be hidden. The Board Card refreshes its content each time a new board is published. ➋ Collapse Card by Default Enable or disable this option to keep the card collapsed or expanded by default on Channel Home.
3-8. "Talk Store, Talk Checkout Quick Purchase, Order, Booking" Card
If your channel is linked to Talk Store, Talk Checkout, KakaoTalk Order, or KakaoTalk Booking, you can display products or menus on Channel Home.

➊ "Talk Store, Talk Checkout Quick Purchase, Order, Booking" Card If your channel is linked with any of these services, you can display related products or menus on Channel Home through this card. If at least one product or menu is registered in the Seller Center at the time of setup, it will be displayed according to the selected settings. If there are no menus/products, the card cannot be displayed. If a product or menu is deleted after the card is displayed and none remain, the card will automatically be hidden. Each time new products or menus are added, the card content updates automatically. ➋ Collapse Card by Default Enable or disable this option to keep the card collapsed or expanded by default on Channel Home.
3-9. Menu/Product Card
The Menu/Product Card displays menu items or products registered via the KakaoMap Store Management Service on Channel Home.

➊ Setting Up a Schedule Card If your channel is linked to KakaoMap Store Management Service, you can display menus/products on Channel Home using this card.
Menus/Products must be registered in KakaoMap Store Management Service to appear. The Channel Admin Center does not support manual registration of menus/products.
If at least one menu/product is registered at the time of setup, it will be displayed. If no menu/product is available, the Menu/Product Card will not be shown. The Inquiry button in the Menu/Product Card is only available for channels that use 1:1 Chats in the Kakao Talk Channel Admin Center. The on/off setting and order adjustments are available, but no content modifications can be made in the Admin Center. ➋ Collapse Card by Default Enable or disable this option to keep the card collapsed or expanded by default on Channel Home.
3-10. Schedule Card
The Schedule Card is available for channels linked with Kakao View. When publishing a board, you can add a schedule, which will be displayed on Channel Home through this card.

Schedules must be created when publishing a board in the Kakao View Creator Center. The Channel Admin Center does not support direct schedule registration.

If at least one valid schedule exists at the time of setup, the card will be displayed. Schedules are displayed in order of most recent creation, with a maximum of 3 schedules shown. 3-11. Open Chat Card
The Open Chat Card is available for channels linked with Kakao View. When publishing a board, you can link an Open Chat, which will be displayed on Channel Home through this card.

➊ Setting Up an Open Chat Card If your channel is linked to Kakao View, you can display Open Chats on Channel Home.
Open Chats must be created when publishing a board in the Kakao View Creator Center. The Channel Admin Center does not support creating Open Chats directly.
Open Chats only active within the display period will be shown. Open Chats are displayed in order of most recent creation, with a maximum of 20 chatrooms shown.

3-12. Chat Card
Displaying a Chat Card on Channel Home makes it easier to engage with customers and provide support. Use features like 1:1 Chats, Chatbots, and CS Talk to create a direct communication channel with customers.

➊ Chatbot Chat This section is displayed only if a chatbot is linked to the channel. When users click the Chat Card on Channel Home, they are redirected to the chatroom. It can be displayed alongside Consultant Chat, but not with Simple Chat.
➋ 1:1 Chat (For consultations) If 1:1 Chat is disabled, enable it and set the available chat days and hours. If 1:1 Chat is already enabled, the existing settings will be displayed on the Chat Card. Adjust chat settings as needed. When users click the Chat Card, they are redirected to the chatroom for 1:1 Chat.

3-13. Simple Chat Card
Displaying a Chat Card on Channel Home makes it easier to engage with customers and provide support. Simple Chat offers auto-response features to create direct communication opportunities with customers.

➊ Setting Up a Simple Chat Card Auto-response chat settings configured in PC Admin Center > Biztools > Chatroom Menu are displayed in order. If adjustments are needed, modify the settings in the Chatroom Menu. When users click the Chat Card on Channel Home, they are redirected to the chatroom where auto-response messages will be triggered. It can be displayed alongside Consultant Chat, but not with Chatbot Chat.

3-14. Instagram Card (Planned for Official Release)
Connect your Instagram account to display the latest posts on Channel Home.

➊ Setting Up an Instagram Card Link your Instagram account to display recent posts in various views on Channel Home. The connection may be interrupted if the account link expires or if the channel app loses access permissions on the Instagram management page.

3-15. YouTube Card (Planned for Official Release)
Connect your YouTube account to display the latest and most popular videos on Channel Home.

➊ Setting Up a YouTube Card Link your YouTube account to display recent and trending videos in various views on Channel Home. The connection may be interrupted if the account link expires or if the channel app loses access permissions on the YouTube management page.

3-16. Location Information Card
Easily share your business location, store details, and operating hours to help customers and friends find your business. For location-based businesses (e.g., offline-focused channels), set up a Location Information Card at the top of Channel Home for better visibility.

➊ Setting Up a Location Information Card For locations in Korea, search for the place and import its details to display. Operating hours are automatically imported from KakaoMap based on the registered location. If a location is not found, click "Register Selected Location" to add a new entry. Channels linked to the Store Management Service can update location details via KakaoMap Store Management. For locations outside Korea, enter the information manually.

3-17. Basic Information Card
Provide key channel details to help customers find accurate information about your business. Encourage customer engagement by displaying action buttons for key business interactions.

➊ Setting Up a Basic Information Card Add details such as website, phone number, email, customer support, and online store. Add settings for app launch and installation, memberships, and social media links.

3-18. Business Information Card
Channels that have completed Kakao’s business verification can display their verified business details on Channel Home. Enhance trust and credibility by displaying verified business details with the Business Information Card.

➊ Button Display Conditions Business details provided during the Business Channel application are automatically displayed. E-commerce businesses can add their e-commerce registration number. This card is exclusive to Business Channels and cannot be disabled. (ON setting only)
