1. Wallet
1-1. Cash
To use paid services of the channel, you need to recharge your cash balance. After recharging, you can begin sending various types of messages.

➊ Total Cash This section displays the total available cash balance, which includes both "Paid Cash" and "Free Cash." Free Cash will only be added to the balance if you click "Use" to activate it. Clicking on the total cash will direct you to the wallet details, where you can view the cash summary and proceed to manage the cash.
➋ Message Credit Message credit allows you to send messages without using cash.
Message credits are not available for purchase. They are granted by the administrator, with a set validity period for specific reasons. (If no credit is granted, it will be displayed as 0.)
Message credits cannot be combined with cash. If you wish to use the credits first, you must select it in the message sending settings.
1-2. Management: Wallet Information
To top up cash, you need to create a wallet and use it within the channel.


➊ Create a New Wallet Only the master of the channel can create a new wallet. When the master creates a wallet, they gain the authority of the wallet master. Managers will not see the “Create a New Wallet” button.
If you are a U.S. business entity with a D-U-N-S number, you can switch to a business channel and begin the Biz Wallet creation process by selecting “Overseas” on the “Create Biz Wallet” page.
After entering your D-U-N-S number, click the “Enquiry” button to retrieve your registered business information.
Please make sure the retrieved business information is accurate.

If the information is correct, enter your wallet name and complete the creation of your overseas business wallet.
Please note that overseas business wallets can only be linked to channel that have been converted to business channel, and currently, only U.S. business channel conversion is supported.
➋ Wallet List & Selecting a Wallet
If the channel master has created a wallet in another channel, it will appear in the wallet list.
Only the channel master can view the wallet list and select a wallet to use.
You can check which channel the wallet is being used in, along with the business information and balance, before making your selection.
Once a wallet is selected, you cannot switch to another wallet. If a change is absolutely necessary, contact customer support.
You can choose one of the following to create a wallet: a domestic business entity that requires a tax invoice, a domestic individual without a business registration number, or a U.S. business entity with a D-U-N-S number.
Business information entered when creating a wallet requires review before modifications. This information is crucial for the channel's home, invoices, and the account holder's name for refunds.

➌ Business Requiring an Invoice When creating a wallet using a business registration number, the system will verify whether the number is registered with Kakao Business and whether it is valid.
The business information entered may be displayed on the channel home and reflected in invoices, so ensure accuracy. Any modifications require a review process. If unauthorized use of another person’s business information or fraudulent transactions are detected, KakaoTalk channel operations and cash management may be immediately suspended.
Please enter a wallet name with a maximum of 20 characters, following the guidelines below. - Allowed: Korean, English, numbers, dots (.), and spaces - Not allowed: Special characters (except dots (.)) / Isolated consonants/vowels (e.g., ㄱ,ㅏ,ㅎㅎㅎ)


➍ Corporation/Individual Business with a Business Registration Number When creating a wallet using a business registration number, the system will verify whether the number is registered with Kakao Business and whether it is valid.
The business information entered may be displayed on the channel home and reflected in invoices, so ensure accuracy. Any modifications require a review process. If someone is found using false of authorized personal information, KakaoTalk may immediately suspended the channel's operations and cash management.
Please enter a wallet name with a maximum of 20 characters, following the guidelines below. - Allowed: Korean, English, numbers, dots (.), and spaces - Not allowed: Special characters (except dots (.)) / Isolated consonants/vowels (e.g., ㄱ,ㅏ,ㅎㅎㅎ)

After selecting a wallet, all administrators of the channel will automatically become wallet members. All members can recharge, refund, and use cash for sending messages.

➊ Wallet Information Once a wallet is selected, you can view the wallet name, business type (individual/business), business information, and cash summary.
You can also recharge or request a refund directly from this screen.
Unused free cash remains in a waiting status until it is used.
To convert to free cash, click "Use" then confirm again in cash details.
To view detailed wallet information, click "View Wallet Details" or the arrow icon.
➋ Cash Management The Cash Management menu, previously under Channel > Management, is now located in Wallet > Cash Management. For a detailed history of cash use, please check Cash Management.
2. My Wallet
You can view all the wallets you have created or manage as a member by selecting "My Account" from the top menu and navigating to "My Wallet." In My Wallet, you can manage wallet details and cash transactions.

➊ My Wallets as a Master If you create a new wallet for a channel that previously had no connected wallets, you will becomes both the channel master and the wallet master.
If you were an Admin of a group in the Business Account Center before October 1, 2018, you will gain wallet master rights. Wallets created under a partner name_group name (where you were an Admin) can be found in the My Wallets as a Master.
➋ Managed Wallets If you are invited as an administrator to a channel with connected wallets, you will have member rights. Wallets that you did not create but joined as a channel administrator can be found in the Managed Wallets tab.
2-1. Wallet Details
In Wallet Details, you can check business information entered during wallet creation and view wallet masters who can manage and edit the wallet. You can also see the remaining cash balance and identify which channel is using the wallet.

➊ Wallet Masters Who Can Edit Wallet Information
You can check who the wallet master is.
Only the wallet master can change the business registration number or request modifications to wallet information
Only the wallet master can rename the wallet.
If a Business Account Center had multiple administrators, there may also be multiple wallet masters.
The wallet master can click "Change Business Information" to update details via Kakao Business. All modifications require a review process. Once approved, the updated business registration number will apply to all wallets where the user is the master. Be cautious when making changes, as they will apply to all linked wallets.
➋ Cash Management / Total Cash History View cash history across all channels connected to the wallet. Check details on cash recharges, refunds, and history, which were previously found under Channel > Management > Cash Management.
➌ Updating Invoice Receipt Details
Only one email address can be registered to receive invoices.
Only the wallet master can update the invoice receipt details.

➍ Channels Using the Wallet Administrators of all the connected channels can recharge, refund, and use cash in the wallet.
To restrict a specific administrator from using the wallet, remove them from Channel > Management > Administrators. If you do not want certain channels to recharge, refund, or use cash, you can terminate the wallet connection by contacting customer support.
➎ Delete Wallet Only the wallet master can delete the wallet. Deleted wallets cannot be recovered. Personal wallets can only be deleted after removing all administrators. Wallets must meet specific conditions to be eligible for deletion.
2-2. Cash Management
You can check the cash recharge, usage, and refund history in: 1. My Wallet > Wallet Details > Cash Management 2. Channel > Management > Wallet Information > Cash Management.
The cash status section provides monthly and daily totals (up to the previous day), while other menus display real-time individual transaction details.

➊ Total Cash Balance This section displays the total available cash balance, which includes both "Paid Cash" and "Free Cash." Free Cash will only be added to the balance if you click "Use" to activate it.
➋ Refundable Balance Only the paid cash portion of the total balance is eligible for refunds.
➌ Refund You can request a full or partial refund of the refundable balance. Before requesting a refunds, you must register a refund account. The refund account must be under the same name as the connected partner. (Partner Name = Account Holder Name)
➍ Recharge Redirects to the paid cash recharge screen.

Overseas country bizwallet can be recharged with cash using a U.S.-issued card.
3. Cash Management
3-1. Recharge History
You can view separate histories for paid cash and free cash recharges. If you receive free cash, you can click "Use" in the free cash history to recharge it whenever you wish.

➊ Paid Cash Cash is recharged and used at the partner level rather than the profile level, so the recharge history for all profiles linked to the same partner will be displayed together. The minimum recharge amount for paid cash is KRW 10,000.
➋ Free Cash Free cash is granted for specific reasons, is non-refundable, and will expire after its validity period. To be included in the available balance, free cash must be activated by clicking "Use.". Once added to the total cash balance, free cash will be used before paid cash.
3-2. Cash History
You can check the recharge history at the time of message registration, as well as any cash canceled after a message has been sent and completed (terminated). If you created a wallet with a business registration number, you must enter invoice receipt details in the Invoice Inquiry menu.

➊ Cash History Cash is recharged and depleted at the wallet level rather than at the channel profile level. Similar to the recharge history, the depletion history of all profiles using the same wallet will be displayed together.
The amount used includes both paid cash and free cash.
After a message is sent and completed (terminated), the supply amount and VAT will be canceled separately.
➋ Invoice Inquiry Individuals or overseas entities without a business registration number will not receive invoices. Sales receipts for credit card payments can be printed from the payment confirmation email sent by the payment gateway (PG) used at the time of payment.
Businesses that created a wallet using their business registration number will receive a tax invoice at the beginning of the following month for the total amount of paid cash used from the 1st to the last day of the month.
Only one email address can be registered to receive invoices.
3-3. Refund History
Once a refund account is registered, all refunds will be processed using the same account. Refunds are issued using the same payment method originally used to recharge the cash.
➊ Refund History You can view the administrator who requested the refund and the refund status. Under "View Details," you can see the original payment method used for the refunded cash and the refund processing method. Refund processing takes approximately 3 business days. For refund requests and refundable balances, please refer to Management > Cash Management > Cash Status.
➋ Updating Refund Account Refund accounts can only be registered or changed if they are opened under the connected partner’s name. (Account Holder Name = Partner Name) Personal partners can register an account in their own name. Even if a credit card was used for payment, the refund may be processed as a cash refund, depending on the circumstances. Therefore, a refund account must be registered before requesting a refund.
